The first decade of the web was inspired by publishing – layout, typography, content and navigation. But the second age is fueled by data – web apps, social networks, feeds, and analytics. Successful designers today take far more inspiration from data visualization than graphic design, and this session will provide the fundamentals and philosophies to guide you with examples from today’s cutting edge work.
